All bootcamp classes are instructor-led and taught 100% online.
Part-time and full-time bootcamp programs are available.

The data analytics curriculum is broken down into four main areas: 1. Excel; 2. Presentations; 3. SQL; and 4. Python. From there, students work on learning the skills they need to pass two industry certifications (Tableau Desktop Specialist and AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty) and finish the program with a culminating project. Grads of the Emory Data Analytics Bootcamp learn the skills they need to be qualified for entry-level roles like Data Analyst and Insights Analyst.

No, you do not need to be a current student or alumni in order to apply to the Emory Tech Bootcamps.

If you’re interested in Emory Tech Bootcamps and are unsure which program is right for you, we recommend scheduling a call with one of our Student Advisors. They can provide you with more information about the curriculum and the roles you’ll be prepared for in each bootcamp.
From there, apply to your program of choice (no prep required!). Next, our Admissions team can help you advance in the process and even help you switch programs if you change your mind (e.g., Data to DevOps).

You do need to provide your own computer for the bootcamp. It can be a laptop or desktop as long as it meets minimum tech specifications. We highly recommend Apple computers for our program, however, it is possible to use Windows with some modifications. You must have at least MacOS 10.15 or newer or Windows 10. Because the bootcamp is live-online, you are required to have a webcam and microphone in order to participate in class.

We have a long-standing history of delivering high-quality tech education in a live online format. You'll learn in a fast-paced environment with hands-on instruction, working closely with your instructor, teaching fellows, and peers.

To be eligible for the program, you must be at least 18 years old and a high school grad/GED holder by the start date of your intended cohort.

Complete the application, take the assessment (60 minutes), and receive a decision. While taking the assessment, you may pause to save your progress and return at a later time. At any point in the process, you can also schedule a time to speak with one of our Student Advisors who can walk you through the process and answer your questions.
